Ever since we saw the spoiler photos for The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 21, “She’s Come Undone,” we’ve been wondering what is up with Elena (Nina Dobrev).
Her post-prom party was nothing more than Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) shooting some vervain into her system and locking her in the Salvatore’s all-purpose prison. In Season 4, Episode 21, “She’s Come Undone,” Elena is still locked up, and the brothers are willing to do anything to flip her humanity switch.
According to Zap2It, Stefan, Damon, Caroline (Candice Accola), Bonnie (Kat Graham), and Matt (Zach Roerig) are all in on the plan. Call it enhanced interrogation techniques if you will, but what it boils down to is that the gang is trying to torture the baby vamp back into feeling.
Remember when Caroline’s father tried to “cure” her of her bloodlust? The Salvatores try the same thing, giving Elena doses of sunlight once they’ve stolen her ring. Maybe bad memories cause the blond vampire to try and intervene on behalf of her bestie?
Regardless, Elena isn’t taking the bait. According to her, Damon would never real harm come to her and will always rush in to play white knight at the last second.
Maybe they should lock Damon up, too, and let Bonnie have a few moments alone with the emotionless vamp...
