How Were the Ratings For The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 19?
In The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 19, “Pictures of You,” Elena (Nina Dobrev) burned some bridges, while Bonnie (Kat Graham) just set her furniture on fire. Then they battled. So how many people tuned in to watch a very atypical prom? (Unless you live in Mystic Falls, in which case, it was business as usual.)
According to The Futon Critic, The Vampire Diaries ratings dropped 25 percent compared to the last episode before hiatus: It had 2.143 million viewers last night, though the numbers may be adjusted later and that’s without DVR tallies included.
The Futon Critic also reports that The Vampire Diaries is down 10 percent in viewership compared to this time last year. Regardless, the show has already gotten a Season 5, so all our favorite vampires will be back again in the fall — unless of course the finale proves deadlier than expected.
Fans should make sure their friends and family tune in for TVD next week. It’s especially important to get live viewers because it’s Season 4, Episode 20 serves as the backdoor pilot for The Originals. If you want twice as much vampire viewing in your life next fall, tune in so The CW will pick it up for a full series!
