Does Nathaniel Buzolic Want to Be on Vampire Diaries’ The Originals?

Kol in Vampire Diaries Season 3, Episode 14: “Dangerous Liaisons”

All the living Original siblings are headed for The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals, which airs on The CW on April 25.

It doesn’t sound like the departed Kol (Nathaniel Buzolic) will be joining Elijah (Daniel Gillies), Rebekah (Claire Holt), and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) in New Orleans during Season 4, Episode 20, mostly because he’s been burned to a crisp. Should the show get picked up for a full series, however, there will certainly be opportunities for flashbacks.

Kol himself told Elena (Nina Dobrev) that he roamed the Louisiana town in the early 1900s, helping influence New Orleans’s ambiance along with his siblings. If The Originals wanted him to make a flashback appearance at a future date, would Nathaniel consider it?

“I would absolutely love to be apart [sic] of the Originals... i think its gonna be an awesome show! Julie's writing and great cast,” he told a follower on Twitter today.

That’s one big hurdle to get over! Now, if executive producer Julie Plec can be convinced... Back in March, she wrote on Twitter that she was well aware of fans’ impassioned “Bring back Kol” tweets: “Dear Kol fans, your passion and enthusiasm is unparalleled. I can make no promises, but @natebuzz and I certainly appreciate your efforts.”

You know what that means, Kol fans! Tune it to The Originals backdoor pilot. It’s the least you can do to up the chances of seeing the baby-faced vamp again.
