Fact: Nina Dobrev is a total babe — and we’re not the only ones who think so. The Vampire Diaries star was just named one of Maxim’s Hot 100 for 2014. Where did she rank on the list?
Nina is No. 53! (But she’ll always be No. 1 in our hearts.) Her bio for the magazine informs us: “This gorgeous Canadian actress is most known for her work on the small screen, particularly as a hot high schooler in Degrassi and a vampire-loving teen in The Vampire Diaries. She also starred in the coming-of-age film The Perks of Being a Wallflower.”
Maxim named South African Victoria’s Secret model Candice Swanepoel as number one, followed by Scarlett Johansson, Katy Perry, Irina Shayk, Jennifer Lawrence, and Zooey Deschanel. A group of classy ladies, if we ever saw one!
Though we agree that Nina is a stunner, it’s her acting talents that have really blown us away over the past few years. Seeing her evolve from a fresh-faced, competent young actress to a woman who can play three doppelgangers in one scene has been a pleasure to watch. Not to mention she may just be the best cryer on TV right now (that farewell scene with Damon in the Season 5 finale?!). She just wrapped filming horror comedy The Final Girls and should be heading back to the TVD set soon, and we’re eager to see both these projects — but we’re Nina fans for the long haul. We can’t wait to see what this hot, talented actress chooses to do with the rest of her career!
