Agh! Just when we were hoping to avoid death in the Season 4 finale of The Vampire Diaries, TV Guide comes along and squashes our dreams. They have lots of other spoilers, too, so let’s get to it.
There will tears of joy and sorrow. That we already knew, but here’s some new intel:
“An epic declaration of love”
Call us crazy, but we think Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is going to return to Mystic Falls to confess his feelings for Caroline (Candice Accola). She’s told him, “I know you’re in love with me,” but he’s never admitted as much. With his permanent move to New Orleans on the horizon, now would be the time.
“A duo (finally!) setting off for the summer together”
Elena (Nina Dobrev) and one of the Salvatores? Will Matt (Zach Roerig) drive Rebekah (Claire Holt) to Louisiana in his truck? So many possibilities.
“A major death”
Noooo! We can’t take anymore, Julie Plec!
“[A] character heading on a path that will leave fans screaming at their screen.”
Could this be a reference to whomever takes the cure? Stefan (Paul Wesley)? Elena (Nina Dobrev)? Damon (Ian Somerhalder)?
