First of all, TVD’s three leads — Nina, Ian Somerhalder, and Paul Wesley — were nominated for “Best Threesome.” (Hey, get your mind out of the gutter.) The other threesomes joining our vamps in this category are the Hunger Games trio, the Neighbors trio, the That Awkward Moment trio, and the Workaholics trio. Yes, that means Zac Efron is nominated twice — don’t be jealous of his bromance skills. In the end, though, we’re putting our money on the epic TVD love triangle walking away with the trophy.
As for the other nomination TVD snagged? That would be “Best Cast Chemistry — TV.” The hit CW show will be going against The Big Bang Theory, Girls, Modern Family, Orange Is the New Black, and Pretty Little Liars. That’s some pretty stiff competition, but we think that TVD stands a chance!
