SPOILER! The Vampire Diaries Season 6 Spoilers: Is Enzo in the Premiere?

We’re still getting over the excitement of learning that Michael Malarkey (Enzo) will be a Vampire Diaries series regular in Season 6. The tortured vampire was one of the high points of Season 5. Will Enzo be in the Season 6 premiere?
It certainly sounds like it! Michael just shared a photo of himself enjoying the California beach on Twitter, along with the caption: “In LA for 3 more days before driving across the country to ATL for #TVDS6. Yessir. #roadtrip #TVD #lazysunday.” Given that The Vampire Diaries is starting its Season 6 filming on July 7, we think there’s a good chance Michael will be in the episode. We suppose it depends on how fast Michael drives. We certainly have our fingers crossed that Michael will step on it. We’re eager to see where his morally gray character falls on the hero-villain spectrum after the “substantial time jump” between Seasons 5 and 6.
Michael has seemed to enjoy his hiatus from The Vampire Diaries. Recently, the British actor has been touring the west coast with his wife, actress Nadine Lewington. Michael shared this adorable photo of the two cuddling up together in front of the Las Vegas skyline and he certainly seems to be enjoying L.A. Sounds like exactly the kind of getaway that might benefit his on-screen counterpart. Enzo needs some fun in the sun — daylight ring included, of course!
