We are dead of cute! Over the weekend, Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes) spent a few days roaming around New Orleans, and she found time to snuggle with an adorable puppy.
“Never too early in the day for a puppy break,” she tweeted, along with the photo of herself and the tiny dog. True story.
In addition to the dog stop, Candice also ate some delicious-looking food and rode the streetcar. The only thing she didn’t tweet about is whether or not she was in town filming The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals.
We can dare to dream, but it seems like she had something else on her agenda.
Candice wasn’t alone on the trip. Her boyfriend, The Fray guitarist Joe King, was keeping her company in the Big Easy. “Also follow @joekingofficial on instagram @josekingseco and see what shenanigans we got in to in New Orleans!More @http://www.joekingofficial.com ,” she tweeted.
According to his tweets, they made the trip because he was the one working. Along with musician Trombone Shorty, Joe was making a music video. (It’s likely for his upcoming solo EP, and not a video for The Fray.)
Sigh. While we’re all for Candice supporting her man and his musical vision, we wish she could’ve stayed for a few extra days and shot a scene or two with Klaus.
Of course, Joseph Morgan teased that crossovers are always a possibility, so maybe Candice will find her way down to New Orleans again if the spin-off gets picked up. Fingers crossed!
