Well, this is an interesting little Vampire Diaries spoiler from TVLine:
“Elena will do just about anything to find the cure, and that includes going to first base with [spoiler].”
First of all, Elena (Nina Dobrev) still wants the cure? That’s a surprise. We thought she was quite satisfied living in no-emotions land, feeding on cheerleaders and being bitchy to her friends.
Second of all, whom could she be kissing that is just too juicy to tell? She’s clearly making out with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) in the promo for Season 4, Episode 17, “Because the Night,” so that’s no surprise. Rebekah (Claire Holt) also shows up in NYC, so maybe there’s a little girl-on-girl action in Elena’s future.
However, we wonder if it’s another Original that Elena’s kissing. Elijah (Daniel Gillies) is set to return in Season 4, Episode 18, “American Gothic.” Elena runs into him in a small Pennsylvania town — and it doesn’t seem like there’s a Salvatore in sight.
Daniel Gillies has always teased that Elijah has every intention of making out with Elena. Even Nina Dobrev wouldn’t rule out their pairing last year, telling MTV, “I guess we’ll see what happens in the future.”
Perhaps the gorgeously coifed Original’s dreams are about to come true?
