We hope New Orleans can handle the Originals, because they are taking over the town! Filming for The Vampire Diaries spin-off The Originals began in the Louisiana city yesterday, and the actors are definitely making the most of it.
Australian BFFs Claire Holt and Phoebe Tonkin landed in the Big Easy yesterday, and immediately the ladies hit the town. Looking cozy and casual in sweatshirts and yoga pants, the actresses explored New Orleans. Don’t ask how they looked so pulled together after a day of travel; we’d almost swear they really are supernatural.
They’ve been posting Instagram photos of their finds, such as a shirt that says, “I put ketchup on my ketchup.” OINO, right?
But it’s not all play and no work. Claire will reprise her role as Original sister Rebekah, while Phoebe brings her werewolf Hayley to The Originals. Also joining the cast of the TVD spin-off are Joseph Morgan (Klaus) and Daniel Gillies (Elijah).
But it’s not just members of the vampire family and their new friend Hayley haunting New Orleans. Other bloodsuckers, witches, and mortals round out the supernatural population.
