As huge Pretty Little Liars fans, we were excited when Torrey DeVitto, who's married to Paul Wesley (Stefan), was cast in a few episodes of The Vampire Diaries. Sure, it’s a little awkward that she played the love interest of his pal Matt Davis (Alaric), but at least they got to carpool together. Now Torrey is returning and the adorable pair will actually appear in a few scenes together.
Torrey and Paul are following in a long tradition of stars being cast as guest stars on their spouses’ television shows. (Remember when Tom Arnold would occasionally appear on Roseanne?) It’s always fun to see a married couple work together — though a little awkward to catch the episode in reruns years later if they’ve since divorced. Regardless, here are some of our favorite spousal guest spots.
