The Vampire Diaries is full of love triangles, but only one vampire has her pick of hybrids.
Caroline (Candice Accola) just said goodbye to her boyfriend, Tyler (Michael Trevino), but Candice Accola tells TV Guide that it doesn’t mean she’s ready to jump into anything with Klaus (Joseph Morgan).
In fact, Caroline doesn’t even feel like they’re broken up.
And yet, she is still drawn to Klaus, who offers her something different from Tyler. “Klaus is the only person she can dream big with,” explains Candice. “It's not that 'we can run away in the sunset and be in love' dream that she has with Tyler, but it's running off to Paris alone and being independent. That's enticing. ... Klaus has aroused those thoughts in Caroline."
Oh là là. Paris. Aroused. We’re all flushed.
Now it’s a question of whether Tyler will be a case of “loin des yeux, près du coeur” (absence making the heart grow fonder) or “loin des yeux, loin du coeur” (out of sight, out of mind).
