Jeremy’s (Steven R. McQueen) in a questionable state of vitality at the moment, and the threat of losing her brother for good is definitely having an impact on the new vampire. According to some new spoilers, expect things to get worse before they get better.
TV Guide reports that for a while Elena will seem closed off and unresponsive. But she’ll have bouts of impulsivity that will make her do “something she might ultimately regret.”
Maybe that something is... sexy? According to TVLine, another of Elena’s stages of grief is “hot.”
