It was a tragic scene when in The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 15, “Stand by Me” when Elena (Nina Dobrev) finally realized Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) was dead.
She rumages through the cupboards until she finds lighter fluid, saying she’ll burn down the house to cover up Jeremy’s death. “I don’t want to live here anymore. I don’t want these sketches,” she says, dousing her brother’s drawings. “I don’t want this Xbox. Not gonna need this bourbon anymore. Alaric’s not here to drink it.”
The new vampire has clearly lost her grip, and she tells Damon (Ian Somerhalder) that it hurts. “Turn it off,” he instructs. The sire bond works its magic, and she does
