On Tuesday, March 26, Phoebe hit up Smashbox Studios for the launch of Kimberly Snyder’s new book, The Beauty Detox Foods. The actress stepped out looking sleek and stylish in a black tuxedo jacket, skinny jeans, and a see-through blouse.
Though we’re quite sure we’d have the nerve to rock a belly-baring top, Phoeb’s has clearly got it, so the girl should really flaunt it!

Top 10 Damon Snarks From The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 18: “American Gothic”
Damon Salvatore (Ian Somerhalder) certainly has a way with words. The witty bloodsucker manages to drop bon mots no matter the situation. Check out the charming and churlish things that came out of his mouth in The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 18 “American Gothic”
1. She prefers bright lights, big city
Damon: Someone like Katherine’s not going to hole up in Hicksville, PA.
2. Somebody’s all business
Damon, to Stefan: I don’t care if we have to throw Rebekah under a school bus and put Elena in a burlap sack; we do what we have to do.
3. Denied
Elena, to Damon and Stefan: You know I don’t want the cure. You need to know that I never will, and I’m done talking about it. So, will you accept that and let me be who I am or not?
Damon: Yeah... no.
4. Can you blame him?
Stefan: What happened to that guy?
Damon: He got his neck snapped on the roof of a building, and now this guy is royally pissed off.
5. Feels like old times
Damon, upon seeing Rebekah and Katherine: I see you got Katherine already — you’re losing your touch, evil one!
6. Even his enemies have nicknames
Damon, to Katherine about Elena: What about you, smiley? Do you know where she is?
7. Specific.
Damon, to Katherine at her house: No sudden moves, no tricks, no... Katherine-ing.
8. Tell me how you really feel?
Katherine: Did it ever occur to you that you never really knew me?
Damon: Did it ever occur to you that you aren’t that deep?
9. The key is getting in their heads
Damon, looking for the cure at Katherine’s house: If I were a dangerous, paranoid sociopath, where would I keep my most cherished possession...
10. Or a balloon.
Damon, to Stefan in regards to not preventing Rebekah from drinking the “cure”: Sorry, I didn’t have a pony to distract her with.
Vampire Diaries' spin-off: The redemption of Klaus, the unraveling of Elijah? -- EXCLUSIVE
Daniel Gillies’ Elijah returns to The Vampire Diaries tonight, and as he’s already teased for us, Elijah’s going to “shock and possibly even horrify.” That’s something fans might need to get comfortable with…
In the issue of Entertainment Weekly hitting stands Friday, we have the exclusive first look at the April 25 backdoor pilot for the Originals spin-off. When Klaus (Joseph Morgan) gets word that witches in New Orleans — a town now run by his protégé Marcel (The Game‘s Charles Michael Davis) — are conspiring against him, he goes to the French Quarter to explore the threat and Elijah follows. What they find is an opportunity to reunite their family in a city they helped settle, but the larger arc for the show might surprise fans even more: “With luck, over a long stretch of time and many, many seasons,” Plec says, “The Originals will ultimately be the redemption tale of Klaus and, possibly, the unraveling of Elijah, who is going to have to maybe get his hands dirty in an effort to keep his brother in check.”
As she’s stated before, it was producers’ appreciation for Gillies’ controlled turn as noble Elijah that birthed the idea of an Original family in season 2 (as initially conceived, he and Klaus weren’t brothers). Gillies says he’s excited to see whatever future the writers script for Elijah, but frankly, he’s more interested in how they could exploit the millennium-old Originals’ pasts. “I’d like to see more of what they’ve uncovered about being vampires, whether that’s flight, or jumping, or invisibility. Those are the supernatural abilities,” he says, “and then you’ve got the abilities that you could learn within a thousand years: What instruments do they play? What degree have they earned in a certain type of kung fu? Which one of them ice sculpts? I’d love to see the extent of their knowledge and skill.”
Klaus, on the other hand, was never supposed to survive season 3: “He was the big bad. You don’t let the big bad live. The big bad’s gotta go, otherwise your heroes start to look foolish for being unable to destroy him,” Plec says. One full season of Klaus was all Morgan wanted too, at first. “I thought that’s sort of enough, because where can it go from there? I don’t want him to turn good and hanging out at the Mystic Grill,” he recalls. But then came Klaus’ teary-eyed, fatal standoff with Mikael in season 3′s ninth episode. “It was one of the first chances I had to really show another side to Klaus entirely with someone who had persecuted him all of his life and where some of that hatred and evil comes from,” Morgan says. “That was when I started to think there’s something in this. He’s not just there as a device to serve the hero’s story line.” (Luckily, he mentioned that to the show’s line producer. “And he said, ‘You know, you should tell Julie because everybody’s under the impression that you want to be done after this season,’” Morgan says.)
“The choice to keep Klaus past season 3,” Plec adds, “was truly born out of how magnificent Joseph is and how much the audience was connecting to him in spite of hating him. They loved to hate him. So knowing that we had a character that powerful, and that there was a spin-off opportunity there, it let us spend season 4 getting Klaus to the place where the character was ready to be the lead of another show. He’s a villain whose family and the people in his life are constantly searching for ways to find redemption for him, and he’s constantly fighting against that instinct. So now, with luck, we get to make a whole series about it.”
And how does Morgan feel now about the possibility of Klaus being saved? “I can say I trust the writers a lot more than I did initially,” he admits, laughing again. “I know wherever they take Klaus, it will be layers on the character that he already is. It won’t be a sudden change of direction where he’s suddenly good. He will always have done these terrible things which he has done, and so he will always have these things to haunt him. I think he possibly is capable of redemption, if there was someone understanding enough to forgive him…. It would be a tremendous character arc.”
The Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Who’s Elena’s Prom Date?
Prom. The time of year when a young woman’s fancy turns to her two potential suitors. According to some Vampire Diaries spoiler photos on Zap2It, Elena (Nina Dobrev) is no different.
We’re not sure if the newbie vampire — who’s wearing a stunning pink gown — is back in emotions territory, but she does show up at prom in Season 4, Episode 19, “Pictures of You.” Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are also at the party, but it’s not clear which brother is her date. Maybe she’s even gone solo?
Elena does have a surprising encounter with at least one other Mystic Falls High School student: Caroline (Candice Accola). Perhaps she’s going to apologize for impaling her best friend with a tree branch? Or maybe she’s still in no-humanity mode and wants to go for round two? Unfortunately, there are no shots of Car’s date either. (Though Damon is offering her a flask, so it could be that she's the one who's dateless.)
It looks like everyone has taken a break from obsessing over the cure to attend the dance, even Rebekah (Claire Holt)! But Stefan might be too busy with his love triangle to notice. In one of the photos, Matt (Zach Roerig) is at the Original’s elbow. Maybe he brought her in *their* truck?

Ian Somerhalder Dates New Women For Fifty Shades of Grey Movie Role | Funny Radio stunt
Ian Somerhalder, the resident Christian Grey contender, recently participated in a “dating game” on a Sirius radio show. According to Hope from Celebs Gather, “On March 25, Ian showed up on Sway in the Morning where he received a plethora of calls from fans looking for a date with their idol. The callers made up a truly disparate group, from stereotypical giddy girls to a 47-year-old mom trying to set him up with her 19-year-old daughter.”
See, if it were us at that radio show, we’d try and win a date with someone who could buy us Twinkies and late night crackers. The only prerequisites: Don’t be a serial killer and don’t work at 7/Eleven.
Somerhalder turned down every single pitch, except for one. A woman phoned in and expressed her love for “animals, [the] environment, and books.” Somerhalder, who is also a massive animal rights campaigner, replied, “I’ll be there in an hour.” Obviously, Somerhalder would never leave Nina Dobrev for a lonely caller that saves animals and reads Tolstoy under a midnight moon, now would he?
Nah, we doubt it. Somerhalder is a sensitive mannequin with soft hands and a mortician’s smile. He’s the type you’d take along to those awkward family dinners where your grandma eats her dentures and your brother drools on his Ritalin. He’s also the type you’d introduce to your friends while you smile behind his back and show the “OK” sign with a bandaged thumb.
The Fifty Shades of Grey Movie spectacle has reached dizzying new heights in the campiness mobile. Not only is the film version currently in the casting phase (how can we not be reminded of this?), but it’s also being pre-hyped like a badly timed orgasm and scalding hot after-sex tea.
Fifty Shades of Lame is here to stay. Get used to it.
Best selling book 'Beautiful Bastard' is being made into a movie. Could Ian Somerhalder get the lead role?
Have you read Beautiful Bastard yet? If you loved Fifty Shades of Grey you will love this sexy erotic story as well.
Book Summary: An ambitious intern. A perfectionist executive. And a whole lot of name calling! (and whole lot of SEX!)
Whip-smart, hardworking, and on her way to an MBA, Chloe Mills has only one problem: her boss, Bennett Ryan. He's exacting, blunt, inconsiderate--and completely irresistible. A Beautiful Bastard.
Bennett has returned to Chicago from France to take a vital role in his family's massive media business. He never expected that the assistant who'd been helping him from abroad was the gorgeous, innocently provocative--completely infuriating--creature he now has to see every day. Despite the rumors, he's never been one for a workplace hookup. But Chloe's so tempting he's willing to bend the rules--or outright smash them--if it means he can have her. All over the office.
As their appetites for one another increase to a breaking point, Bennett and Chloe must decide exactly what they're willing to lose in order to win each other.
Bennett is literally a Beautiful Bastard! He is the super sexy business man that you fantasize about having sex with on top of the desk in his corner office. He rips off panties in stairwells, has his way with her in naughty places and the dirty talk is... WOW!
He has a beautiful strong jaw, freshly f*cked hair and looks fabulous in a suit. Who should play Bennett in the movie?
Do you think Ian could pull off this role?

Top 5 Vampire Diaries OMG Moments From Season 4, Episode 18
What we weren’t expecting was Caroline’s caress of Klaus’s face to turn into a joke. It wasn’t the blond vamp at all, but Silas, taking on another form to mess with this usually impossible-to-fool Original! Preying on Klaus’s only weakness and hearing all those threatening ancient words coming out of Miss Forbes’s mouth? If it sent you for a loop, imagine how Klaus felt!
Elena Borrows Katherine’s Clothes
It’s almost impossible to pull one over on Miss Katherine Pierce (Nina Dobrev). In many ways, she’s the original con artist, and it’s something she takes pride in. She would have pulled it off again had it not been for Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) joining forces.
Not only did the gruesome twosome physically overpower her — what with the hand-stabbing — but to add insult to injury, Elena picked out various accessories right from Katherine’s person. All the better to fool Elijah (Daniel Gillies) with. For Katherine, the final straw was Elena taking her heels. We don’t blame her; after all, those were truly killer heels.
The Return of Elijah
On a show like The Vampire Diaries, surprises are frequent, but there are still some that knock us off our feet. Elijah showing up on the town gazebo to meet Katherine? This was absolutely one of them.
We weren’t the only ones taken aback! When Elena agreed to disguise herself as Katherine and go meet the mysterious “Em” and learn details about the location of the cure, they have no idea who would turn up. Then it turned out to be Elijah in a pressed suit, with his mind of nothing other than making out with Katherine. OMG!
Caroline and Klaus Reach a Truce
Talk about fiery tempers. Caroline has tried time and time again to make nice with Klaus. But he keeps doing stuff like trying to kill everyone she knows and banishing her boyfriend from her sight forever. She was reaching her breaking point, but even as they battled it was clear that somewhere deep down there is mutual respect. While they didn’t part as best friends, Klaus made a big leap, pointing out that while he hasn’t called Tyler back, he isn’t exactly spending his days and nights hunting the guy down. Does this mean friendship could be a real possibility?
Rebekah Takes The Cure
While virtually every person in and out of Mystic Falls is hunting for the cure, no one has wanted it more than Rebekah. It goes without saying that whatever your feelings, you have to admit that Rebekah is the one who wants it the most — and for reasons that are sympathetic if not the most morally superior.
That’s why we held our breaths (or screamed) when Rebekah thought she had her hands on the cure and took it in one fell swoop. When she woke up from her slumber, it became clear she had been tricked into drinking a concentrated vervain shot courtesy of Katherine. But, for a moment, when she whispered, “I feel alive,” it was hard not to feel goosebumps.
SPOILER! The Vampire Diaries Originals Spin-Off: New Orleans Atmosphere, Drunks
The Vampire Diaries spin-off, The Originals is set to debut on April 25, and Entertainment Weekly has a first look at the pilot.
The show looks absolutely gorgeous, as it was filmed in New Orleans in mid-March — over St. Patrick’s Day weekend, actually. The city had more than its fair share of revellers, Joseph Morgan (Klaus) tells EW, and not just for the vampire parties.
“[I]t was St. Patrick’s Day weekend over that period that we were filming in the hotel,” says Joseph, “so we’d suddenly have to stop production while an incredibly inebriated couple stumbled through this vampire party trying to make it to their room.”
It’s Klaus’s former protégé Marcel (Charles Michael Davis) who is responsible for the bloodsuckers’ bashes. Vampires have free reign in New Orleans, thanks to him. “Marcel’s got people to look the other way while they have these crazy hedonistic parties and do whatever they want,” says Joseph.
Executive producer Julie Plec fell in love with the city when she made a research trip in December. “We got to shoot in Lafayette Cemetery, which has been there for hundreds of years. We got to shoot in and around buildings that have been standing since the last great fire,” she explains.
Unfortunately it sounds like filming full-time in the city would be too pricey, and Julie is planning on having The Originals shoot in Georgia near The Vampire Diaries, should it get picked up. Joseph hopes they’d still be able to visit New Orleans a few times a year, though Daniel Gillies (Elijah) admits, “I think it would be damn near impossible to shoot in Louisiana for the duration. You’re dealing with a lot of drunk people a lot of the time.”
Gotta love the spirit (and spirits) of New Orleans!

How Were the Ratings For The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 18?
In The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 18, “American Gothic,” Elena (Nina Dobrev) proved the new version of herself is no one to be trifled with. She went up against her doppelganger and shocked the Salvatores with some very un-Elena-like behavior. So how many people tuned in to watch Elena break some hearts and necks?
According to The Futon Critic, The Vampire Diaries ratings held fairly steady: It had 2.42 million viewers last night, though the numbers may be adjusted later and that’s without DVR tallies included.
The Futon Critic also reports that The Vampire Diaries is up about nine percent in viewership compared to this time last year, which is great news. Regardless, the show has already gotten a Season 5, so all our favorite vampires will be back again in the fall.
In a recent press release, The CW said TVD is one of their highest-rated shows amongst the key demographic of 18 – 34-year-olds, though Arrow has been getting more viewers overall.
Therefore, fans should make sure their friends and family tune in for TVD on April 18 — when the show returns from hiatus — to see Elena and the rest of the Mystic Falls High School students (and some, um, chaperones) attend prom!

SPOILER! The Vampire Diaries Originals Spin-Off: Klaus’s Redemption and Kung Fu
As any fan of The Vampire Diaries knows, the bad guys aren’t all bad and the good guys aren’t all good. Julie Plec tells Entertainment Weekly that the trend will continue in what she hopes will be many seasons of the show’s spin-off, The Originals.
TVD Season 4, Episode 19, “Pictures of You” sets up Klaus (Joseph Morgan) to return to New Orleans when he hears that witches are plotting against him. Ever the dutiful brother, Elijah goes along, too. That’s where the backdoor pilot — aka, The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 20 — begins.
Right now, it’s just the standalone episode, but if the show gets picked up — and then renewed for several seasons — viewers could see a whole new Klaus... eventually. “The Originals will ultimately be the redemption tale of Klaus,” says Julie, “and, possibly, the unraveling of Elijah, who is going to have to maybe get his hands dirty in an effort to keep his brother in check.”
One thing was certain to Julie: Klaus couldn’t keep hanging around Mystic Falls. “You don’t let the big bad live,” she explains. “The big bad’s gotta go, otherwise your heroes start to look foolish for being unable to destroy him.” The last thing we want is a supernatural world without Klaus!
Joseph Morgan agrees that Klaus can change his stripes, given the right circumstances. He tells EW, “I think he possibly is capable of redemption, if there was someone understanding enough to forgive him...”
As for Daniel Gillies, he’s eager to explore what the Originals do in their downtime, when they’re not killing people. “[Y]ou’ve got the abilities that you could learn within a thousand years: What instruments do they play? What degree have they earned in a certain type of kung fu? Which one of them ice sculpts? I’d love to see the extent of their knowledge and skill,” he says.
Yep, we’d watch several minutes of Elijah learning to flick a card into a hat, à la Groundhog Day.

Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev to Travel Together to Visit Sick Fan
We’re so teary! Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert) made a very special video for a very special fan of The Vampire Diaries and now we’re all emotional!
Easter weekend is coming up, and Nina has been planning to visit her family for the holiday. “Mentally preparing, bracing myself for the cold- Easter means family this weekend. I don't miss living in snow, but I'm excited to visit it!” she tweeted about her trip to Toronto.
In addition to getting together with her relatives in Canada, Nina and boyfriend Ian will make time for a visit with Kayla, a TVD fan who needs a lung transplant. On her Twitter, Kayla asks that everyone be an organ donor.
“We know you watch the show,” Nina says in her video. “And we know about you, too. We’ve been following you.” Then she told Kayla, “Elena will never be as strong as you. … Or as courageous.” Ian agreed, “Can’t compare.”
Then the couple asked her to clear her schedule on Saturday so they could come visit. They each blew her a kiss and said they’d see her soon.
And now we have to go. We have something in our eyes. Sob!

The Vampire Diaries Synopsis For Season 4, Episode 19: “Pictures of You” [UPDATE]
Prom! It’s prom time! We’re way too old for prom, but we’re so excited! In the new synopsis for The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 19, “Pictures of You,” everyone is looking forward to some punch, a few spins on the dance floor, and nothing going wrong at all.
Good luck with that, kiddos! Elena (Nina Dobrev) is still her anti-Elena self, and it’s messing with Caroline’s (Candice Accola) mojo. So who helps out Vampire Barbie? None other than one Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan). He’s quite tickled that Caroline sought out his advice.
Their happiness may be put on pause, though. For one thing, the Original is angry with his brother Elijah (Daniel Gillies) for a decision the well-coifed vampire made. Then Klaus gets a disturbing message that may completely shake up his life (and send him to New Orleans, probably).
Elijah is preoccupied with a different sibling, however. He gives Rebekah (Claire Holt) a chance to change her life. First, though, she has to help Matt (Zach Roerig) deal with Elena, who’s gone off the rails in an unforeseeable way.
Both Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are on hand at the Senior Prom to deal with the emotionless vampire, but things, as they tend to do at Mystic Falls dances, fall apart.
Meanwhile, Bonnie (Kat Graham) finds out something scary. (Silas’s real face? Please?!)

We've been dying to get our hands on these "Vampire Diaries" senior prom photos -- and now we can finally exclusively reveal them to all the fans! The highly anticipated prom episode, "Pictures of You," will air Thursday, April 18 at 8 p.m. -- and judging from these pics, it's the biggest Mystic Falls event we've seen yet.
First of all, Elena -- who chooses a dress that matches the new hot-pink highlights in her hair -- finds herself caught between Stefan and Damon once again. We're just glad Damon agreed to go to the dance in the first place... after all, he is just a few years past his high school days.
Meanwhile, it seems that Rebekah is feeling a little glum as she slumps at a table. Perhaps she's not exactly the object of Stefan's affection that night? (Though, in that sunny yellow dress, we can't imagine why he wouldn't want to sweep her off her feet.) Luckily, it looks like Matt may be showing up to save the day. Here's hoping that kid finally gets a little action. It is prom night, after all.
As for Caroline -- how breathtaking is her gown? Unfortunately, with both Klaus and Tyler absent from these photos, there's no clue as to whether she's got a date to this particular dance. Maybe that's why she's sharing a drink with Damon in one shot.
And finally, we get to see Bonnie all dolled up! Since she's missed out on a few of Mystic Falls' more glamorous affairs, it's great to see her put on a fancy dress with her friends.
What are your best guesses as to what happens at the prom? Who's dancing with whom? Do you think Elena and Caroline will face off? Any guesses as to whether Katherine makes an appearance? Sound off below in the comments section. Let's discuss!

The Vampire Diaries Spoilers: Does Katherine Want to Kill Elena?
There are many things to be excited about for The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 18, “American Gothic.” One of them looks fantastic in a suit, while the other favors leggings and stiletto boots.
Yes, both Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Katherine (Nina Dobrev) are returning to TVD and according to what Ian Somerhalder tells TV Guide, the latter spells trouble for Elena (Nina Dobrev).
The emotion-free vamp — along with her new sidekick, Rebekah (Claire Holt) — has tracked Kat down in Pennsylvania. Ian says, “There’s always a problem with that, because Katherine, you know, her first inclination’s going to be to [mimics an off-with-her-head motion] kill Elena. That would be the best thing to do.”
It’s one way to get a doppelganger off your back. Ian says the cure is Katherine’s only leverage, so she’s not going to part with it that easily. “Katherine could kill her any moment,” teases the actor.
Normally, we’d say Katherine is too old, strong, and crafty to be taken out by a newbie vamp. But she’s not going to hold back in a fight, as Caroline did. Yet it will be two against one: Rebekah is clearly on Elena’s side, because the Original wants the cure as much as anyone.
Of course, we can see Bex snatching the cure and leaving Elena to fend for herself against her doppelganger...

The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 18: Where Has Elijah Been?
Heads up! The Vampire Diaries spoilers for Season 4, Episode 18, “American Gothic.”
If you’ve been missing Elijah on The Vampire Diaries, that will soon be remedied on Season 4, Episode 18, “American Gothic,” when the Original and his flawless hair return. TV Fanatic interviewed Daniel Gillies about what the vampire has been up to all these months.
"I think he's been water-skiing," says Daniel. "He must enjoy base-jumping, right? In a full suit, of course…” OK, we’d actually just watch a spin-off where Elijah hosts an extreme sports show.
Luckily for fans of the OV, Daniel says his character won’t just be doing a quick pop-in to say hello. (Though Daniel did tweet a picture of himself saying “Tomorrow night we get filthy." What that means, we have no idea.) Elijah will also show up in Season 4, Episode 19, “Pictures of You.” Do you think he goes to prom?! Sure, it’s a little weird, but Damon is clearly attending, according to some new spoiler photos, and he’s definitely above the median age of a typical prom-goer.
Then Elijah will appear in the April 25 backdoor pilot for the spin-off The Originals. Fingers crossed that it gets picked up so we can see a lot more him — though, sadly, not in the shirtless sense. Daniel told TV Fanatic that he’s not quite ready to go bare-chested. “Give me three weeks to prepare, and I'll look like Ian Somerhalder by the end of it,” he promised.
You got yourself a deal, Mr. Gillies.

SPOILER! The Vampire Diaries Speculation: Who Will Die in Season 4, Episode 18?
The hunt for Red October the cure continues in The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 18, “American Gothic.” This time, the chase leads Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) — soon followed by Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) — right to Katherine (Nina Dobrev).
The mischievous doppelganger is holed up in small town Pennsylvania, presumably with the cure nearby. Bex and Elena confront Kat, bones are broken, and then...
Question mark. Who knows if the ladies will make it out of this Kat fight alive. Oh, OK. We know Elena and Bekah aren’t going anywhere. Well, the Original is going to New Orleans for a spin-off, but you know what we mean.
But maybe Kat won’t live to run another day. As much as we love the scrappy vamp, she’s made a lot of enemies. Maybe her good luck has finally run out.
Klaus (Joseph Morgan) is another one in a world of trouble. Not only is he on Silas/Shane’s (David Alpay) radar, the 2,000-year-old immortal stuck the Original with the white oak stake. While it didn’t kill him, the enchanted wood is making life miserable for Klaus in this episode. His only hope is that Caroline (Candice Accola) will take pity on him. He could be in trouble.
Frankly, we’re not sure anyone is going to bite it in this episode, except for any townsfolk crazy enough to get in Katherine’s way.
The Vampire Diaries Season 4 Finale: Are These Spoilers?
The Season 4 finale of The Vampire Diaries is just around the corner, and we’re getting our hands on all of the spoilers we can find.
But do these recent tidbits from E!’s Watch With Kristin sound like Vampire Diaries spoilers to you?
First, she writes that two fan-favorite couples will reunite for good. Second, another couple gets back together after the guy dramatically saves the girl’s life. And lastly, a central female character gets a heartbreaking cancer diagnosis.
Considering the above spoilers are for the “highly anticipated finale” of a popular show, it’s obvious that they are not for The Vampire Diaries. We can’t see Bonnie (Kat Graham) being diagnosed with cancer, and as of right now, all the other females on the show are immortal vampires. Most likely, these spoilers are for the 90210, which is slated to wrap up for good next month.
Some things you can expect to happen in Season 4, Episode 18 include Rebekah (Claire Holt) and Katherine (Nina Dobrev) finally meeting for the first time (trust us, it’s not pretty), Elijah (Daniel Gillies) reemerging from who knows where, and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) calling Elena a nasty name. Oh, and let’s not forget Rebekah and Elena’s little road trip in Damon’s car to find the cure before the Salvatores do.
What are you most excited to see in the upcoming Vampire Diaries episode?

SPOILER! The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 18: Showrunner Tweets It’s a Fave
Hey! Minor Vampire Diaries spoilers for Season 4, Episode 18, “American Gothic” here!
If you’ve seen the sneak peek photos, promos, and videos for The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 18, “American Gothic,” then you know we have two very special guest appearances: Katherine (Nina Dobrev) and Elijah (Daniel Gillies).
Obviously one has the cure, but the Original’s presence in a small Pennsylvania town is a bit more baffling. Regardless, executive producer Julie Plec is very excited for fans to see the episode.
“Not to completely discount my musings about expectations, but this Thursday's TVD is in my top ten all time faves. #thebitchisback,” she tweeted. Oh, she better not be talking about Elijah like that!
But Katherine might be out-matched this time. Normally she menaces her doppelganger Elena (Nina Dobrev), but the new vampire has Original backup in the form of Rebekah (Claire Holt). Let’s just say the blond bloodsucker is less than impressed by Kat. Plus, without her emotions, Elena isn’t exactly quaking in her new boots at the thought of running into her former tormentor.
If we’re headed to a showdown, Kat vs. Elena and Rebekah, who do you think will win? Bex has the strength, but we’ve never been ones to doubt Katherine’s cunning.

Why Is The Vampire Diaries So Addictive?!
Newbie vamps may have some out-of-control bloodlust, but The Vampire Diaries fans can totally give them a run for their money in the cravings department. We know all too well how addictive this show can be. Season breaks are endless and even the miniest of hiatuses is torture. Thank goodness for reruns, but still. It hurts.
What is it about this show that keeps us wanting more (and more and more and more)? Below, our unscientific analysis of what makes TVD so deliciously desirable.
All You Need Is Love
No matter what team you’re on— Delena, Stelena, Forwood, Klaroline, etc. — the roller coaster relationships in this show are totally irresistible. Sure, it sometimes makes you insane when a love story doesn’t go your way, but that’s exactly what keeps you hooked: You can’t help but care about these crazy kids and their sometimes un-beating hearts.
Action, Action, Action
Some shows take ages to resolve a conflict, which can really bog down a plotline, but TVD always keeps things moving. Hybrid sire bond? Oh no! Broken. Cure for vampirism? What?! Located. Terrifying immortal being who will bring about the end of the world on the loose! Umm, jury’s still out...
Hot Sex Scenes
They’re really sexy. Do we need to say more?
Death Around Every Corner!
Unlike many other TV dramas, The Vampire Diaries’ showrunners have made it perfectly clear that life in supernatural-magnet Mystic Falls is actually dangerous. When a character is in danger, you worry that they will actually die. Unlike other shows where you think, “Please, they’d never kill him/her,” they will. People die, people are turned into vampires against their will, and things don’t always work out in a happily ever after fashion. Dramatic? Hell yes.
Good vs. Evil
Whether it’s Katherine, Klaus, or another TVD villain, there is something so juicy about watching a bad guy just be, well, bad. And comeuppance is a beautiful thing, and one worth waiting for. On the other hand, TVD is careful not to make anyone all good or all evil, which makes them so much more enticing to watch. Evil can be justified, and good can be selfish. Conflict = interesting. Fact.
Fun Flashbacks
Mystic Falls is a pretty small place, so options are pretty limited. We can’t go to the Mystic Grill literally every night, right? Luckily, TVD always knows when to throw in a well-timed road trip or, better yet, a flashback full of quaint period costumes and hilarious hairstyles.
Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley...
As the titular vampires, the Salvatore brothers really are the soul of this show, and they could easily fall into the good vamp Stefan vs. bad vamp Damon trope. But that would be boring. Thanks to Paul and Ian, they are so much more than that. Stefan is sweet and brooding, but he’s capable of unspeakable evil. Damon is snarky and selfish, but he shows incredible care for those he’s close to (even if he won’t let them see it). Oh, and they’re both sexy and their love triangle with Elena is hot with a capital HOT. No big deal.
And Nina Dobrev
One of the pitfalls of being in the human female heroine in a vampire story is ending up as a helpless pawn in supernatural games. Say what you will about TVD’s Elena, she’s never been a spineless, swooning damsel-in-distress. In fact, she’s ballsy to a fault when it comes to protecting her friends. She just happens to have a problem deciding who she’s in love with... and we can’t wait to watch her try to figure it out.
And Joseph Morgan, and Candice Accola, and Claire Holt, and...
The list goes on. The Vampire Diaries does a lot of things really well. Casting is very high up on that list.
