Prep yourselves for some sad news: The Vampire Diaries is headed for a mid-winter break.
Starting February 28, the show will take a mini hiatus, airing a rerun of Season 4, Episode 10, “After School Special.” According to The Futon Critic, the following week will also be a repeat episode.
The site has a new episode scheduled for March 14, 2013: Season 4, Episode 16, “Bring It On.” We don’t know much about what will be going on when the show returns from hiatus — only that there will be cheerleaders.
