Vampire Diaries Spoilers For Season 4, Episode 14: “Down the Rabbit Hole” — Meet the New Hunter Vaughn

Both Connor (Todd Williams) and Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) are members of the supernaturally endowed group of hunters called The Five. Following Connor’s demise, Jer has been solo, but the group’s ranks are about to increase by one. And by the looks of some photos from The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 14, “Down the Rabbit Hole,” he’s just as deadly as the rest of his crew. 

It’s on the mysterious island off the coast of Nova Scotia that the group first runs into him.

Twilight’s Charlie Bewley plays Vaughn, a hunter who is no fan of Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder), as you can tell from these photos. The Five member has Mr. Salvatore tied up and at least one gun pointed at the vamp’s handsome head. Think he has those same badass bullets that Connor did?
Vaughn has heard a lot about Damon, but the bloodsucker’s love for Elena (Nina Dobrev) puzzles the hunter.
It’s not clear what Vaughn’s take on the cure is, but maybe he’s the one who sent that stranger to steal Professor Shane’s (David Alpay) headstone? If so, such bloody tactics don’t bode well for Damon!
