Torrey DeVitto on Husband Paul Wesley: I’d Rather Not Work With Him

Torrey DeVitto’s not just a pretty face — though she certainly has one. The 28-year-old actress stars on two hit television shows (The Vampire Diaries and Pretty Little Liars, natch), works as a volunteer for hospice care, and even plays the violin semi-professionally.

“I was always a performer,” Torrey reveals in an interview with Zooey Magazine. “I started playing violin when I was six, so I thought I could be a professional. It wasn’t until I was 15 when I got into acting classes and realized this was what I wanted to do.”

That doesn’t mean Torrey’s given up her music, however. In fact, the actress has some pretty impressive credits to her name! “I’ve sat in on the Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra and the Topanga Orchestra. [...] Last year I played on Stevie Nicks’s album. I’ll never stop playing.”
As for her day job, Torrey says it’s rare that she and hubby Paul Wesley are on the set of The Vampire Diaries at the same time — which, oddly enough, she enjoys! “We definitely stay out of each other’s business when it comes to working together. [...] I think it’s great because you don’t want to blend working and pleasure too much.”
Torrey and Paul seem to have an amazing relationship, so clearly her philosophy is working. However, if we were married to the Polish hottie, we doubt we'd be able to leave his side!
