That Jeremy Gilbert (Steven R. McQueen) can’t catch a break. In Season 4 of The Vampire Diaries, he died, came back to life, then found out the love of his life, Bonnie (Kat Graham), is a ghost. When Hollywood Life caught up with Steven R. McQueen at the Lone Ranger premiere, they asked what viewers can expect from the erstwhile couple... who now have a supernatural veil separating them.
“Well, have you seen Ghost with Patrick Swayze and Demi Moore?” Steven asked “It’s going to be exactly like that! … I’m going to mold some clay, and it’s going to be beautiful.”
Wow. OK, so Steven was clearly joking about recreating that iconic scene when the Righteous Brothers played softly in the background at Sam and Molly got muddy on the potter’s wheel, because when asked what he doesn’t want to see, the actor said, “I wouldn’t like to see a scene of me molding clay with Bonnie behind me singing, ‘Ohhhhh, my love…’” So, you’re just toying with our emotions now, McQueen?
Considering the entire population of Mystic Falls thinks he’s dead, Jer’s going to have more on his mind than just relationship problems. The whole town will probably accuse him of being a zombie or something.
