With anticipation building over the fall-scheduled premiere of The Originals — the Klaus (Joseph Morgan)-centric spinoff of The Vampire Diaries — we are getting more and more spoilers everyday. Because we are decent, vampire-loving folk, we will keep bringing them all to you! That way you can print them up and tape them to the wall of your Klaus-stalking-den; or you know, just maybe tell a friend. Up to you.
When we left things, Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) was pregnant after her drunken dalliance with Klaus and both parties were left reeling in the wake of this development. But don’t get it twisted; just because they’ve contributed to the creature brewing in Hayley lady-parts, it doesn’t mean they are just a couple of cursory dates away from happily ever after.
“Hayley is, by no means, the Cinderella in the Klaus love story," says executive producer Julie Plec. "Hayley is a girl who's pretty tough, fiery, an independent spirit, a survivor in her own right who got drunk, had sex and got knocked up. She's going to have her own journey. She's not really meant to be a threat to Klaus' love life. If anything, she's the portal into his redemption."
There’s a part Plec left unsaid: Who exactly will take part in Klaus’s love life. Could it be Caroline (Candice Accola)? Inquiring minds, Plec! Inquiring minds!
