If there is one thing Paul Wesley does not have in common with his The Vampire Diaries character, conflicted vampire Stefan Salvatore, it’s fashion sense! We’re not saying Paul doesn’t look good — perish the thought! — just that he could maybe learn a bit about fashion from his TVD alternate ego.
To be fair, the two do share a serious love of the colors grey, black and white, but in an interview during a photo shoot with Glamour UK, Paul admitted that he tends to stick to jeans and t-shirts for the most part. Now and then, Paul confesses, he has to raid Stefan’s wardrobe when he needs to dress up. Well, at least the part of it not covered in blood stains.
“I do borrow things for events, because I really do not like shopping for clothing,” The Vampire Diaries star said with a laugh. “But I do have all of Stefan’s wardrobe at my disposal, and he goes to a lot of fancy little parties.”
Lucky man! But it sounds like the real winner here might just be Paul’s gorgeous wife, Torrey DeVitto, who is perhaps not the biggest fan of her husband’s everyday fashion choices.
“She does like it when I dress a little more maturely, because I tend to gravitate to hoodies and things of that nature,” Paul said, rocking a very fashionable blazer for the camera. “So when I put on something like this she gets very excited because I look my age.”
We’re not sure who deserves the credit here — Torrey, Stefan, The Vampire Diaries wardrobe department — but to whoever is behind Paul Wesley’s red carpet looks, that we maybe drool over just a little from time to time: we thank you.
