The second wave of 2013 Teen Choice Awards nominations were announced today, and wouldn’t you know it? The Vampire Diaries is all over the place!
Candice Accola (Caroline Forbes) and Steven R. McQueen (Jeremy Gilbert) are up for Choice TV Scene Stealer — Female and Male, respectively. Joseph Morgan (Klaus) was nominated for Choice TV Villain, along with Carly Chaikin from Suburgatory, Lana Parrilla of Once Upon a Time, Pretty Little Liars’ Janel Parrish, and Becca Tobin from Glee. (If we recall, Joseph was up against a bunch of mean girls last year, too.) Congratulations!
Joseph, Candice, and Steven join fellow TVD Teen Choice nominees Nina Dobrev (Elena Gilbert) and Kat Graham (Bonnie Bennett) — who are in the running for Choice TV Actress: Fantasy/Sci-Fi — and Ian Somerhalder (Damon Salvatore) and Paul Wesley (Stefan Salvatore) — who are battling it out for Choice TV Actor: Fantasy/Sci-Fi. Their nominations were announced in May, as was Vampire Diaries’ Choice TV Show: Fantasy/Sci-Fi nod.
