It’s officially official: The Vampire Diaries Season 5 is a go! Yesterday was the first day of filming, but Ian Somerhalder tweeted that Damon didn’t make his first appearance until today.
“He's back,” Ian wrote. “Shooting 1st scene of Season 5 right now.” Along with those delicious words was a photo of Damon’s daylight ring and Mystic Falls High School’s logo. And we thought we were done with that place!
Unfortunately, those were all the hints Ian was willing to give. Sigh.
