The Vampire Diaries season 6 spoilers : Enzo is a "Loose Cannon"

Though the fang gang may have lost two of their loved ones in The Vampire Diaries Season 5 finale, they gained a few back in Alaric (Matt Davis) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey). OK, so maybe Enzo doesn’t really qualify as their “loved one,” but he’s ours, so we’re counting him. What will the two be up to in Season 6? Well, half of them will be a “loose cannon.” We’ll let you guess which one...
“We are very excited about Alaric’s return and plan to incorporate him in Elena’s life hoping to give a type of parental touchstone to her (something she lost when she lost him),” TVD executive producer Caroline Dries told Alloy Entertainment. “Enzo, as we left him, is still a bit of a loose cannon wild thing and I can’t wait until the two butt heads– and I’m sure they will. Let’s see, wish list — feels like there could be a bar brawl in their future. Or maybe they’ll just karaoke compete against each other.”
Um, go with the karaoke. Definitely the karaoke. And not just because we’ve heard Michael Malarkey sing. This show has pulled off karaoke as a plot point before: Caroline singing “Eternal Flame” to Matt, circa Season 2. OK, that was more all-out rocking out, complete with backup band, but it was one of our favorite moments of Season 2 regardless of what Plot Device Box you put it into. On second thought: could we just have an entire musical episode? Thanks.
