The Salvatores have had their share of fights, but usually their own issues provide enough fodder without getting anyone else involved. The Hollywood Reporter’s new Vampire Diaries spoiler roundup for Season 4, Episode 19, “Pictures of You” hints that things are a little different this time.
Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) begin the episode by planning three different ways to get Elena (Nina Dobrev) to turn on her emotions again. Brotherly teamwork! One of those methods involves flooding her with memories — showing her old photos of her first date with Matt (Zach Roerig) and other nostalgic sights. It seems to impact the brothers more than it does Elena, however.
In fact, Stefan dances with Elena and he’s the one to start feeling old emotions stir up. So is Elena playing the Salvatores?
No, according to THR, it’s not Elena who’s pulling their strings — someone else is. It’s not clear who would gain something by such tricks, unless Katherine (Nina Dobrev) is playing her old vampire games.
We’re not sure how the calculated rivalry will affect Stefan and Damon — we just hope they’re not the ones battling it out in the parking lot. Apparently the brawl nearly turns deadly!
