The #TVD actor was honored last night at the 2012 Environmental Media Awards for all the work he does through his ISF organization. He was humbled to be a part of the select group of individuals.
Of course our favorite topic came up, and he didn't shy away from discussing the opportunity to play the role.
We transcribed a few of his responses for you:
"You know, I think that's going to be a very interesting story to tell, and you never know."
"It seems like whoever plays that role its going to be very interesting rehearsal time."
"The audition process is going to be interesting. I think whoever does that role, you should just aim to make every studio executive in that room as uncomfortable as possible."
He also tells a cute story about going to a Whole Foods recently and witnessing a woman who couldn't put the book down long enough to go into the store, so she ripped the cover off and put it in her purse before going inside. LOL!
He said he has no such problem because he has it on his iPad. He says he's only read the first book, however.
