Ian Somerhalder and Twilight’s Nikki Reed have only just officially started dating, but they’re racking up the “aww” moments pretty quickly. Check out this “special moment” Ian shared with his new girlfriend
The “special moment” in question is Ian giving his new horse — yes, you heard that right: a horse — a loving hug, and Nikki being there to take a snapshot of the memorable moment. Ian captioned the adorable pic: “Proud new dad... What amazing creatures they are. Wow. His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big baby boy.”
The Vampire Diaries actor has been having a lot of intense moments with the new lady in his life lately. Last week, he took to Instagram to share his “profound” reaction to the short film Nikki directed for ESPN’s “Nine for IX Shorts.”
“Wow, I am so profoundly moved right now,” Ian Instagrammed after watching the short, Think Normal. “After watching this film, as my eyes dry and my mind settles I realize the amount of compassion, love, insight and skill it took to put this together. This story and stories like it need to be told and this @iamnikkireed is why people connect to you and love you. Never stop spreading this amount love, compassion, as well as intellect and showing us the raw human condition through your acting, directing, writing or producing.
