Michael Trevino and Jenna Ushkowitz Break Up — Glee Actress Confirms Split

It’s officially heartbreak season in Hollywood, and it looks like the latest couple to fall from grace is Michael Trevino (Tyler Lockwood) and Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang). The pair has been dating since 2011 and regularly makes us swoon with their Instagram pics, so this split is a tough one for fans of both The Vampire Diaries and Glee — and, you know, anyone who believes in true love.
While at the premiere of Ryan Murphy’s HBO film The Normal Heart on May 19, Jenna was bombarded with a question about whether or not she and her studly lover were still together or not. “No, we’re not together anymore,” Jenna tells the curious dude with a smile. Clearly Jenna is holding up OK, though we know it must be a hard for her to talk about the split.
Just this Memorial Day weekend Michael was grilling and hanging out with an adorable pitbull. Clearly his way of coping with the split is super manly. We’re sure he’s leaning on his bros to get him through this, and he’s got plenty of time to have some alone time now that The Vampire Diaries is on summer hiatus.
Throughout the years these two were together, Jenna brought a Mystic Falls hoodie to the Glee set, they celebrated birthdays together, made out in Tyler Shield videos, and attended star-studded red carpet events as a couple. Basically, they were our favorite pairing of celebs who play secondary characters on primetime TV. Say it ain’t so, you guys!
