If you, like many of the other Vampire Diaries-obsessed fans of the world, were hoping that Nathaniel Buzolic was single and ready to mingle... think again.
While vacationing through Italy, the actor (who portrayed Original vampire Kol on the hit supernatural drama) took to Instagram to show off a special new woman in his life.
“Introducing my Italian girlfriend...” Nate tweeted, while posing alongside a beautiful brunette on a Vespa.
For a second there, our hearts almost stopped — until, that is, we realized his “girlfriend” wasn’t real!
We’ve got to hand it to Nate for pulling a fast one on us. He certainly has a good sense of humor! But does he also have an opening for a non-plastic lady in his life?
In an interview with Croatian news channel Dubrovnik Today, the actor (born in Australia to Croatian and German parents) revealed that he doesn’t have a girlfriend at the moment. “I tweeted once, and I still stick to this, that I would love to marry a Croatian girl. I want my children to speak Croatian first, and for them to do that, we need someone who speaks very good Croatian. [...] So, if there’s anyone looking for a serious relationship out there...”
Well, you heard the man! Do you speak Croatian? If you do, we don’t know what you’re waiting for!
