Are you following Ian Somerhalder’s new movie, The Anomaly, on Twitter? If so, then you’ve already seen some smoldering pics of The Vampire Diaries star on the set of the a sci-fi/action thriller.
The Twitter handle has released some behind-the-scenes shots of Ian, including one of him lighting up cigars with actor/director Noel Clarke (Dr. Who, Star Trek: Into Darkness). According to the tweet, “No non smoking actors or fake cigars were harmed.” That’s a relief!
During TVD’s hiatus, Ian’s been filming the movie in London and appears to be having a blast. “Wheels down in London-getting ready for work on @TheAnomalyMovie have scenes with BRIAN COX-so cool...” he tweeted on June 10.
In the movie, Ian stars as an ex-soldier who finds himself in the back of a van with a kidnapped boy. He only has 10 minutes of consciousness to discover what’s going on and figure a way out of it. The movie’s Facebook page is full of cryptic clues about the film, like this post: “There are no good guys or bad guys. Just opinions.”
Luke Hemsworth (Chris and Liam’s older brother), Brian Cox, and Noel also star in the film. We have to say, if there are plenty of scenes of Ian in a tux, we’ll be first in line!
