In The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 23, “Graduation,” everyone got to graduate (aw), someone took the cure (eek!), and Elena (Nina Dobrev) made her choice (gasp!). According to The Futon Critic, The Vampire Diaries ratings rose a bit compared to Season 4, Episode 22, “The Walking Dead”: It had 2.198 million viewers last night, though the numbers may be adjusted later and that’s without DVR tallies included. Last week, 2.155 million people tuned in. How do the ratings compare to the Season 3 finale? They're down a bit from its 2.49 million viewers.
The CW has finalized its fall schedule, and TVD will return in the same time slot. We’ll have time to recover after the Season 5 episodes, because The Originals will air Tuesdays at 8 pm. Get those DVRs ready!
At the CW Upfronts yesterday, The CW’s president praised TVD as one of the network’s highest-rated series. It’s clear The CW loves its vampires!
