If you thought Elena (Nina Dobrev) going on a double prom date with Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) was an interesting twist, just wait to hear who Caroline (Candice Accola) is taking.
In a new clip for The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 19, “Pictures of You,” the bubbly blond vamp is trying on her prom dress with Bonnie’s (Kat Graham) help. While the witch is bringing down the mood, explaining how her dreams about Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) have been setting her couch on fire, Caroline is determined to keep things light.
“You need a night off from mourning,” she tells her bestie. “You look super hot, by the way,” Bonnie responds, saying that she and Matt (Zach Roerig) are going to have the sexiest date there.
Aw! Group date! “I love friend prom!” Caroline says enthusiastically, though she’s sad Tyler (Michael Trevino) — whom she’s still referring to as her “boyfriend” — can’t be there.
One person who isn’t part of that friendship circle? Elena. She enters the dress shop and covetously eyes Caroline’s gown. Based on the spoiler photos, somehow the emotionless vamp ends up in possession of Caroline’s couture before prom.
Almost trying to kill Caroline? That’s one thing. Stealing her prom dress? Vampire Barbie won’t let anyone get away with that fashion faux pas!
