SPOILER! The Vampire Diaries Synopsis For Season 4, Episode 18: “American Gothic” (UPDATE)
A small town in Pennsylvania? That’s the last place we’d think to look for Katherine (Nina Dobrev), but according to The Vampire Diaries synopsis for Season 4, Episode 18, “American Gothic,” that just might be where the fanged fatale is hiding out.
The last time we saw Kat, she was absconding with the single dose of the cure. Now Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Rebekah (Claire Holt) are hot on her trail — hence the trip to the Keystone State. Guess who else is a fan of Quakers, chocolate, and liberty? Elijah (Daniel Gillies)!
Now that we’re done doing our happy dance, we’ll tell you that the Original also just so happens to be in Pennsylvania. Intrigue! Maybe he and Katherine are holed up in the same bed and breakfast?
Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) are both worried about Elena and her new emotionless state. She’s not exactly rolling out the welcome mat for their assistance, either. Also, Stefan has his own vision for his future, which surprises Damon.
Caroline (Candice Accola) isn’t too jazzed about helping out Klaus (Joseph Morgan) back in Mystic Falls, but she does so anyway. In the meantime, the Original finds out more about what makes Silas so formidable.
