It’s always nice to see Katherine (Nina Dobrev) on The Vampire Diaries. But after Season 4, Episode 14, “Down the Rabbit Hole,” she’s on our list.
Speaking of lists, Kat is always on Klaus’s, and Joseph Morgan tells TV Guide that it’s definitely still a plot point. "We've got to bear in mind this is someone who Klaus hunted down for 500 years. So she's going to want to do everything she can to avoid him,” Joseph points out. Refresher course: Klaus wanted to use Katherine’s doppelganger blood to lift the curse that kept his werewolf side dormant. By turning into a vampire, she thwarted his plans. Klaus holds a grudge — even though he murdered her entire family.
So you’d think after she grabbed the cure Katherine would vamp out of Canada and head for an entirely different continent. Joseph says the lady vamp has something up her sleeve, but “whether that's trying to kill [Klaus] or make peace with him or trying to broker a deal with him, that remains to be seen, but absolutely not something that's brushed over.”
