Something witchy this way comes! Another magical lady has been added to The Originals — The Vampire Diaries spin-off that airs its backdoor pilot on The CW on April 25.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Prison Break’s Danielle Campbell has been cast as Davina, a young witch. Because of her inner demons, Davina’s guardians have tried to protect her from the world. Yet she’s drawn to the alluring and frightening city of New Orleans.
She’s not the only witch in town, though. Sophie (Daniella Pineda) has lost her magic but plans to get it back. We’re not quite sure how Klaus (Joseph Morgan) will use these spellcasters — or if they’re friends of his former protégé — but we can’t wait to find out!
